Marivic Diaz-Lim
Marivic Diaz Lim is one of, if not the first, to open a restaurant in Salcedo Village in 2006. She is the brain behind Apartment 1B, the pioneer in the comfort food concept in the Philippines, serving only no-nonsense comfort food in its highest quality. Marivic is a graduate of the University of the Philippines and the Culinary Institute of America (Associate Degree in Culinary Arts, 2-year program). Marivic continues to pursue her passion for food with her flagship restaurant in Salcedo as well as Apartment 1B at The Henry Hotel in Pasay, and in The Henry Resort Taramindu Laiya. With the newest branch at Arya Residences, BGC.
She continues to bring innovation and quality dining experience with Kitchen 1B, a food delivery service in Metro Manila, providing restaurant-quality food that is both nutritious and delicious.
Chef Nikko Roa
Chef Nikko Roa is a highly skilled and experienced chef, with almost two (2) decades of experience in the industry. He has worked in various restaurants and hotels, honing his skills and expanding his culinary knowledge, as well as providing premium and quality dining experiences to guests.
Chef Nikko is known for his innovative approach to cooking, combining traditional techniques with a modern flair to create dishes that are both delicious and visually stunning.
He has received numerous accolades and awards throughout his career, including Funlasang Pinoy 2 Grand Champion, Member of LTB Chefs Association of the Philippines. Despite his success, Chef Nikko remains humble and passionate about his craft, always striving to push the boundaries of what is possible in the kitchen.
He is currently the Executive Chef at Apartment 1B, where he works alongside the restaurant's policy and vision to provide gourmet comfort food with unparalleled quality. With a passion for culinary arts, Chef Nikko Roa has established a track record of delivering high-quality, innovative cuisine that consistently exceeds guests' expectations.
He is experienced in managing daily kitchen activities, overseeing staff, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring and ordering stockings. Chef Nikko is also the lead for Kitchen 1B, the food delivery service of Apartment 1B, providing healthy and high-quality meals delivered straight to your doorstep.
